We want to provide an encouraging update on COVID-19 within our Abbey Delray South community. As of today, the resident who previously tested positive for COVID-19 has had two subsequent negative test results and has been cleared of the virus. We have no active cases of COVID-19 in our community at this time.

While this is great news, we must remain vigilant in protecting our community against the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, please continue to stay in your homes, practice social distancing if you must venture out for essential items, wash your hands frequently and use hand sanitizer. In addition, we ask that you wear a mask when you leave your home or the Abbey Delray South campus. If you have left the campus, please proceed to the community location for the appropriate screening process including a temperature check upon your return. All residents must adhere to the screening process when they return to the community.

As a reminder, Lifespace and Abbey Delray South are continuing to follow heightened infection control guidelines. We encourage everyone to only leave the community for essential needs like groceries or critical medical appointments, practice social distancing and proper hand hygiene. As we have done throughout the last several weeks, we will regularly communicate updates about our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy community.
